Mobile Scissor Lifts Applied in a Regional Warehouse Picking Project

Operators could remain at working height for longer periods instead of climbing up and down repeatedly. This reduced interruptions during picking and allowed workers to complete multiple orders within the same aisle before repositioning the equipment.

In addition to picking tasks, the platforms were also used for shelf inspection and inventory checks, allowing the same equipment to support multiple warehouse functions.

Practical Results from the Warehouse Site

Feedback from the site indicated several operational improvements:

  • Reduced time spent repositioning ladders

  • More stable working conditions during elevated picking

  • Lower physical fatigue reported by operators

  • Improved organization during high-volume order periods

Rather than changing the warehouse layout, the equipment helped optimize how existing space was used.
