How Does a Manual Pallet Truck Work?
+A: A manual pallet truck features a steel frame equipped with a pair of forks that can be inserted beneath a pallet. The forks are operated hydraulically and can be raised or lowered using a pump handle located on the truck’s handle. By pumping the handle, the hydraulic system lifts the forks, elevating the pallet off the ground. The operator can then maneuver the pallet truck by pushing or pulling it to the desired location. To lower the forks and release the pallet, the operator simply releases the hydraulic pressure by operating a release lever.
